Gensler Architects, AvroKO, Philippe Starck and Lenny Kravitz come together for the new W Hotel on Vegas Strip

Since 2016, a hotel-within-a-hotel, the W Las Vegas, has occupied the third tower, the Lux Tower, of the architectural complex on the North End Strip that, for some years, has been the home of the SLS Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.
Gensler Architects, the architectural studio that first converted the building, collaborated with AvroKO and Philippe Starck in creating the new, exclusive W, heralded for many years. Its 289 rooms and suites offer a sanctuary away from the frenetic pace of Sin City, as well as a playful and perhaps a little bizarre version of luxury hospitality that is perfectly suited to the brand.

From the collaboration with Lenny Kravitz comes the Extreme Wow Suite on the two top floors that, with more than 700 square metres and a panoramic view of the mountains, guarantees its guests enjoy a spectacular wow effect.  The same breathtaking panorama can also be seen from the terrace, with bar and swimming pool, of the Wet Deck, which, together with the Away Spa, the Fit gym, meeting and conference rooms, the W Living Room Bar and seven restaurants shared with SLS, makes the hotel a new go-to destination in this part of the city, which reinterprets its unmistakable features, such as the desert landscape and the electrical (and electrifying) neon atmosphere.
