At the Monaco Yacht Show the actual protagonists are the 125 super yachts berthed at Port Hercules. At the four-day Monegasque event all the best of the nautical sector and much more. In addition, car and lifestyle exhibitions, including the renowned Awards ceremony with all the attention focused on Sanlorenzo, an Italian-based company

It is the “Wonderland” of the nautical sector. Monaco, with its deep-water bay of port Hercules, naturally suited to accommodate the fascinating and luxurious 'floating houses' designed by the most important ship owners in the world. This is the exclusive frame of 'bon vivre' where the Monaco Yacht Show, one of the most prestigious exhibition of super yachts, takes place.

Officially inaugurated on September 27, the 27th edition (which will be closed on Saturday, September 30th) embraces the whole sector: yachts, super yachts (125, to be precise, presented this year), 580 exhibitors from 38 countries that add to the sea show along through a vast range the of products and services linked to the industry.

A unique opportunity also seized by several furniture companies that consider the world of boats as an ambitious destination for their custom made projects; among them, Visionnaire, Laurameroni in collaboration with Wood Work, Annibale Colombo, Exteta in collaboration with Sunseeker, Paolalenti who provided the lounge with its indoor/outdoor furniture.

During the years The Monaco Yacht Show has recorded a noteworthy growth, considering that in 1991 (inaugural year of the event) there were only 32 super yachts and 80 yachts (until its eighth edition).

This year the proposal was further implemented with Starboard, an exhibition space dedicated to the exclusive lifestyle that defines sea living luxury; the area for Tenders&Toys, the most trendy equipment for the living area on board; to end with the Car Deck, gallery and open sky of the most coveted automobiles: Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Bentley, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, up to Hoffmann & Novague, new entry with the limited edition HN R200, made of aluminum body.

A not to be missed appointment, the MYS Superyacht Award Ceremony. At the presence of Serge Telle, State Secretary of the Principality, was awarded the new Home super yacht of the Dutch shipyard Heesen Yacht: with its 49 mt it was awarded as the most eco-friendly boat exhibited at the Monegasque event. The MYS Interior Design Award winner is Seven Sins (52mt), designed by the Officina Italiana Design Sanlorenzo, which perfectly combines the finest elegance for interior with the most innovative technology in only 500 tons.

Finally, double recognition for Jubilee, a 110mt boat signed by the Oceanco yard, winner of the MYS Exterior Design Award and Finest new superyacht Award, for the absolutely fascinating design and layout, and for the best technical performance.
