Bellotti Ezio is making a double debut in Shanghai. It is the company’s first appearance at the trade fair organized by FederlegnoArredo Eventi and the debut of the new Bel Mondo brand on the Chinese market. The three-day fair is a perfect stage for the company to communicate its new stylistic direction: it is taking a fresh approach and embracing influences to boost its international appeal.
With the new brand, designed by architect Giovanni Luca Ferreri, Bellotti Ezio intends to expand its interior solutions, balancing and compensating for the classic products that have defined the company’s history since its establishment over 70 years ago.
«This collection is a real change for us, an evolution with which we intend to enter the retail market, as well as to intercept a different target, above all the American market – explains Donatella Bellotti, the third-generation at the helm of the company – Alongside our classic products, we can develop all types of design and stylistic preferences with production flexibility that is guaranteed by our artisan approach».
Hence the use of original materials such as nubuck leather, black Portoro or red Levanto marble and amethyst glass, as well as innovative finishes such as brushed or bronzed brass alongside ash with an urban black finish. The designs are no less sophisticated, featuring clean, more defined lines. A perfect example is the Levante bedroom in the Naxos collection, which is dominated by the elegantly romantic bronzed brass canopy bed.
In the Chinese market, which represents 25% of the company’s total turnover, retail conditions are perfect for the new Bel Mondo line, which has already enjoyed early success after its April debut at the Salone del Mobile. Indeed, Bellotti Ezio has for a long time graced the multi-faceted universe of design with its decades of experience, offering solutions with sumptuous allure.
